Weird, I never knew there were levels.

Level 1 is a clear bright light. When I was 5, I nearly drowned and as I floated above the pool I saw a clear bright light. It was pure joy, creation, and completeness. As I approached the light, the pull towards it got stronger, not unlike gravity. I realized I was a little sphere of light, and was curious to see if what appeared to be a HUGE light was really billions of little lights like me in close proximity in the distance, or if they are all merged together. I was certain this was the creative source from which all things sprung and realized immediately that individuality or ego was an illusion - that i had always been part of this light. I was not Buddhist, this was all just what I perceived. The gravity-like pull made me realize if I got too close I couldn't back out. I decided to stay and watch myself at the bottom of the pool. My mom appeared, saw me, sat on a lounge chair, and removed her shoes. paused. removed her watch and tucked it IN her shoes and dove in to save me. So, I'll never know the secrets of that light.

Later I remember saying to mom, "You removed your shoes and watch!"

She replied," How do YOU know? You were at the bottom of the pool."

So, all these levels are interesting. I thought there was just the one, and that maybe the big light ball had solar flares that shot you back out if you needed to learn something more. My light-ball afterlife theory. Fortunately, since it happened when i was five, I didn't think to question it too much.
