I'm an english buddhist (female) travelling to the US (certainly LA, San Francisco and Vegas, but possibly elsewhere also) in April ,and looking for intriguing experiences while i'm there. these experinces could be zen-related or Tibetan-based, but i'm not strongly affiliated to one brand of buddhism.
any suggestions? it would help if temples and other places were reachable by public transport.
mindfully yrs,
nod

Wed, March 26, 2008 - 4:02 PMGreen Gulch is amazing, but is a drive. The website has car pool information. The wife and I go up occasionally and could be talked into escorting a tag-along. The San Francisco Zen Center is also keen.
