Custom order French Truffles from Montreal... my dirty little private secret. My public one, Lake Champlain Chocolates... Never have had a bad one of any variety! Helps with Kirtan... as I'm busy savoring/eating and not spoiling the otherwise harmonious sounds with my scary voice.

    My three all time favorites...

    1) half chocolate dipped glaceed Australian apricots
    2) thickly chocolate covered grahams (with black coffee)
    3) rocky road clusters

All, of course, in milk chocolate...

My favorite chocolate is Lindt Lindor truffles. My gawd, it's quite an orgasmic experience for me. There I said it. Admitting it is the first step, right?

There is a shop right around the corner from my house called Uncle Sam's Chocolates. They make their own products, for the most part, and all of them are fantastic. We just went there two days ago and dropped about $25 on a big variety of stuff from their bulk case, which will probably last us a week or so.

They make what they call a Wicked Dark Chocolate Truffle; I forget what the cacao percentage is, but it's pretty high for a truffle (though maybe not so high if it were a chocolate bar). They're really good.

      I love discussing chocolate!

      Here's an amazing one...

      Reber Mozart Chocolates

It is a chocolate shell, inside is a filling of marzipan and truffle (?)

A high quality British chocolate that has very little lecithin (wax) so it begins to melt in your hand. Contrary to the M&M ads, melting chocolate is wonderful!

oh, my gal loves Cadbury! They have a British store a few towns over and she gets one of their bars..the one with a lot of fruit and nuts.

lecithin, by the way, as derived from soy is actually pretty healthy, said to help keep cholesterol in check!

(thought I imagine that chocolate is not the best delivery system!!)

I am allergic to chocolate. It gives me migraines. It's a crime.

Toblerone - yum. When I already have a headache, I eat one.

              hysterical! waiting for the headache!

I actually worked in a candy warehouse once! It was like a little kid's dream come true..

it was all there: Lindt, Perugina, Droste, Toblerone, Koppers, all the basic American bars....everything...

              ++++

              in other news...more silly fun...

              Ethel Anyone?

Anyone need an Ethel Merman fix?

              www.youtube.com/watch

I find that she really hits the spot sometimes. Not sure what spot it is, but it is a pretty funny one....

So, I was dating this woman named Karen. She ran a local theater company. She was quite the hoot. She told me that in high school she
was after this guy for 3 years straight. Finally, he asked her out,
they were in her car and the moment happened! He kissed her!

So Karen, stops, pushes him away and breaks into song, doing a show tune.

When she said that I thought of Ethel Merman...doing that in the middle of a big date in high school, the look of horror in the boyfriend's face, the windows shattering, small animals running for cover, etc., etc. etc...
